From left to right, this dress is made from 3 identical bridesmaid dresses from family members, the design started from a sketch (to the right). Since being flat pattern drafted, turning 3 mid length princess pattern dresses in the one floor length gown comes down to puzzle piecing. You can obverse the seam lines around the bottom, to add that length.

The second dress was originally a 3 xl t-shirt dress I had thrifted falling in love with the brushstroke like floral pattern. Using a slip dress to pattern piece and quilting techniques I am happy with the garments outcome.
